Life at Home

Charity moved home with her family in April 2009, after two years of living in hospitals, emergency rooms, ICU wards, LTAC hospitals, rehab centers, nursing homes. Their wheelchair accessible home, and in home health care has help regain her role a wife of Jeremy, and mother of three girls. Here are some random photos from this period in her life.

Moving on - Rebuilding

In this album we hope to share photos in the rebuilding phase, after nearly two years of being in hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing homes, Charity and Jeremy are finally in their own home. Also photos of people and events important to Charity.

Thanksgiving & Christmas 2008

Thanksgiving 2007 was exciting because Charity tasted her first foods, pureed to almost liquid. Thanksgiving 2008 she ate at the Thanksgiving table with her family in Kansas City. Christmas and New Year were spent in her home town (and some days in her own home).

Photos from Quality Living in Omaha, nearly a year after Charity's first hospitalization. The therapies continue and new activities are added to prepare her for home, the place she so desires to return to.

Since Turning the Corner

We see that God in His grace and mercy is bringing some healing into Charity's life since about November 12, 2007. We don't know how long or how extensive this healing will be. It does seem to be something more than just a temporary event. We share these photos to rejoice in Him for each precious day we have with Charity. We pray for a full and meaningful life yet to come.

Vediamo che Dio nella sua grazia e misericordia circa dal 12 novembre 2007, sta portando della guarigione nella vita di Charity. Non sappiamo nè per quanto tempo, nè quanto ricuperà. Sembra che non sia solo un avvenimento temporaneo. Condividiamo queste foto per rallegrarci nel Signore per ogni giorno prezioso che abbiamo con Charity. Preghiamo per una vita piena con significato ancora da avvenire.
