Speech: I know I have written about this before but I want to share more about speech. Of all the things I have lost speech is the hardest to get comfortable with. I don't mind not walking and not being able to use my hands the way I want, but speech? Now that's tough. Just think of picking up the phone to order a pizza, saying thank you to the cashier, ordering a coffee. It's everywhere and we don't even see it.
