: After I finally passed my first swallow test, I was able to eat purreed food. It was kinda disgusting to see your favorite foods reduced to a blob of gelatinis mess. I ate a lot of mashed potatoes those first days. We even tried baby food, but let me tell you, babies must have no taste buds or something, that stuff is disgusting.
